Addressed to my loyal clientele.
All great things do not last forever, they evolve. Thank you to all of you that have supported French.US’s first concept store. French was a dream of mine to host a home within a shop. With a full working real kitchen, we were able to change the city codes of the city to host what really looked like a real home. With this idea, we grew a community and a family. We hosted cooking classes, birthday parties, events, pop ups, floral arranging classes and life classes. As French.US evolved, ideas emerged. As my family relocated to New York, I also sold my family properties in Canada, filed for divorce and life took some time to think what I really wanted for myself and my children and my company. I took a trip to France for work and a week of rest.
After spending four years searching for a home in Provence, that week, I came across something very special. It was love at first sight. I took my funds from my homes in Canada and a small amount from my sale in California and I bought the home for French.US’s next home.
With this new chapter, I will show you how I will transform a former nuns convent dating back to 1701. This convent that was converted into a Hotel Particulier in the 1800’s will now be restored to host an interactive physical and virtual guest rental. The home will incorporate all of French.US’s favorite brands and collaborations within the home. From Mariage Freres tea to Antoinette Poisson custom domino papers, the house will take you though all of the best of the best of France. You will be able to visit the home virtually or in person. I want you to experience what I see, taste and feel and live as I do in France. My goal is to bring the beauty and wisdom from this wise country to you in your home wherever you are.
I welcome you to come along on the adventure and follow the restoration of the home located in the beautiful historic provincial village Tarascon, France.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
