SABRE
SABRE is the story of Francis Gelb, born into a family of goldsmiths. Carried by respect and unlimited passion for the craft trades, he worked with his family before creating his own House of Cutlery in Paris in 1993: SABRE - from the name of the first cutlery developed by the brand. A name that also describes his project: cut through the monotony of tableware, combining, for the first time, craftsmanship and freedom with colours, shapes and materials.
SABRE is also a love story. That of Francis Gelb and his wife and partner, Pascale. From this communion to the summit, constantly nourished by travels, encounters, legends, colours, “the Sabre soul” was born: a nomadic and friendly spirit, a sense of sharing and natural elegance.
The duo is working at full capacity and the charm is having its effect: SABRE is at all the trade shows and big fairs, the shops and corners are multiplying, the international market is opening its doors. Soon, the creation of never-before-seen porcelainware is going to offer a new answer for place settings, thereby transforming tableware arts into a true lifestyle.

OUR BRANDS
Love stopping by once in a while after shopping at the farmers market on Saturdays. Love everything about this store. This store has unique items with great quality from France. They always bring in new items.
I visited this store because what I wanted was made in France ( and they had it). That said, it amazes how many other "made in France" items they have; houseware, kitchenware and other products for your home...think "Cost plus" but only originating from France and smaller.
